Q: When we rent this house, how do we know where the house is and how to get there?
A: Upon booking your stay and receipt of payment in full, you will be sent directions to the property.
Keys will be accessible through the use of a lock box located on the outside of the front door.You will be given the code to the lock box . Directions to the home will be provided at that time.
Q: Are personal belongings insured?
No. Homeowners have short term rental insurance which insure for injury; but typically, damage/theft of personal belongings would be your responsibility.
Q: What are the security issues? Does crime seem higher in these rental areas? Wouldn’t it be easy to be “marked” as a tourist who isn’t familiar with the area and would be gone much of the day sightseeing and therefore be an easier target?
There is little crime to visitors and very seldom crimes while a home is occupied. This home has an alarm system that help when a home isn’t occupied. You will be given the alarm code which is changed after each guest departure.
Q. What happens if we have any problems or questions during our stay?
A. The local management company is on-call 24/7 to take care of you. Their contact information will be in your welcome kit.
Q. I worry about cleanliness. Is the house cleaned professionally?
A. Yes. The house is cleaned once per stay by licensed cleaning professionals. All homes are licensed by the State of Florida hotel and restaurant commission which requires strict safety and cleanliness guidelines.
Q: Are there just one set of towels per guest? Are you expected to wash those yourself, or are they changed every couple of days? Is made service available for extended stays?
All homes are completely self-contained with all appliances, washers/dryers, dishwashers, etc. Each bathroom is stocked with six sets of towels (with many homes having more in the closets). You could wash these yourself. If you prefer, we do it for you.This is generally referred to as a mid-stay clean which is an additional charge and must be requested when you reserve the home.
Q. I need to check my email and surf the web while on vacation. What are my options?
This home has wireless internet access, bring your lap top and you are good to go.
Q. Can I make long distance calls at the house?
A. Only local calls are permitted in homes or 1 800 numbers. Phone cards are available for purchase at supermarkets or pharmacies.
Q. What's included in the kitchen?
A.A Dining table , refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, stove, microwave, small appliances, dinnerware (dishes, silverware, drinkware) and cookware (pots, pans, utensils, etc.).
Q. Can I split the cost of a house with friends and/or family?
A. Absolutely! Just make sure you are within the occupancy criteria. No extra charge for additional persons, your payment is calculated on a per night basis. This home has 2 additional queen size blow up beds which can be requested for an additional charge, you can request the use of these beds when you place your reservation.
Q. We have small children. What accommodations do you have for us?
A. Cribs, highchairs, and pak & Plays, can be ordered when reservation is placed.

Q. Do you have a barbeque grill?
A. Grills can be rented from the management company .Place your request when reservation is made. You get a clean grill delivered with a full tank of propane gas.
Q. We don't want to have to food shop when we're on vacation. Are there food shopping services available?
